“Okay, so… why are you holding my joint?”
Tommy glanced at the joint again before shrugging. “Weed helps anxiety, right?”
Wilbur blinked. “Uh, usually, yeah.”
“Alright, then.”
Suddenly, Tommy was stuffing the joint in his hoodie pocket, and walked over to Wilbur’s closet. Next thing Wilbur knew, there was a jacket being thrown in his face, followed by the nearby thud of what he guessed was Tommy throwing his shoes at him.
Yanking the jacket off his face, Wilbur glared at his little brother. “What is this?”
“What do you think, dumbass?” Tommy asked, gesturing to the jacket and shoes now sitting on the floor in front of Wilbur. “We’re going out.”
or, freshly home from university for the summer, Wilbur has a panic attack over his grades. Good thing Tommy is there to pull him out of his head.

Life is a bitch and Tommy knows that all too well. So when his med dosage gets raised he’s absolutely pissed. But he doesn’t fight the decision. It would be nice though if he wasn’t exhausted all the time. It would be even better if Wilbur Soot stopped trying to figure out what was going on.

Maybe it isn’t fair to put his fate in the hands of his unknowing (unseeing, unhearing) family, but he can’t bring himself to care. Tommy is this fucking close to breaking and all he needs is that last little push.
He doesn’t know if he’ll make it to tomorrow alive.
What startles him the most is that he doesn’t think he wants to.

“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?
