Summary
Since he was a child, Estinien knew dragons were Ishgard's greatest enemy. Since the day Ferndale burned, he considered dragons HIS greatest enemy. As the Azure Dragoon, he took pride in serving his country and enacting his revenge by slaying dragons. If it had scales and horns, it would fall by Estinien Wyrmblood's lance. He was a dragon slayer. A knight of Ishgard who would slay the dread wyrm Nidhogg.
Yet one day, while hiding out as a fugitive from the Holy See to keep the Eye far from Ishgard, he comes across a young lady. A small, delicate thing that reminds him of a princess from a fairy story. An adventurer sent by his former mentor to apprehend him. A creature with a fair face marred by white horns and scales. A second Azure Dragoon.
(Starts in the dragoon questline during ARR and continues on through the Heavensward patches, so beware of 2.0 and 3.0 + patch spoilers.)

There was a quiet knock at the door.
Silence.
Then another knock, this time with more urgency.
Sarantsatsr grumbled, who would need her so badly they needed to disturb her in the middle of the night. She quietly mumbled to herself, telling whoever was on the other side that she was awake.
Whoever had the nerve to call on her so urgently better be damn important. Gods forbid if it was something less than that.
She cracked open the door, cautiously peeking out.
“Hello…”
Rielle stood before her, awkwardly shuffling behind the door. Sarantsatsr let out a quiet sigh of relief and opened the door.
“I'm sorry for waking you.” Rielle said quietly.
