Jax is still haunted by the past Abstraction of Ribbit, and the mysteries of his past in both the Circus AND in his old life have been starting to mess with his head. When the rest of the Circus group comes up with a ridiculous plan to do a pillow fort-building adventure, though, he reluctantly joins them in a desperate attempt to escape his own thoughts. Not because he 'likes spending time' with any of those losers. Except he has no choice but to rely on Kinger when he witnesses Jax having a full-blown panic attack while on their adventure... And he maybe lets more slip about his feelings than he intended to, which only makes matters worse.
Can Jax finally overcome whatever emotional and mental barriers he's always put up around his past before it tears his mind apart for good? Can Kinger become licensed therapist before the end of this sentence?? And most importantly, can someone give that freaking bunny a hug???
Yeah, no one said this fic was gonna be good. Or coherent.
