Jungkook sits on the edge of the bed in his oversized hoodie and cotton shorts. He looks so soft, nervous eyes constantly glancing towards the camera setup. Taehyung walks closer, a smile on his face, sliding his fingers through Jungkook’s hair in an attempt to soothe. "Hey, are you still with me? Okay to do this?"
Head nudging into Taehyung’s hands, Jungkook’s eyes start to close. "Mm. Just, you know, a bit anxious." Jungkook's eyes open again, meeting Taehyung’s, big and luminous in the bedroom light.

Summary
Jeongguk doesn’t want to put his faith in a detective. He grew up being his own protector, and now that he has to rely on other people to keep him safe—Jeongguk doesn’t know how to depend on others. Especially Taehyung, whom he’s still getting to know, still isn’t sure how he feels about him.
He wants Taehyung to leave him alone (kind of wants Taehyung to fuck him), but wonders if Taehyung protecting him would be the worst thing in this situation. Surely he can put aside his pride for the sake of staying alive.

He decides to take the bat in to help it, it's not a chore seeing as he loves bats anyways. What he doesn't expect is for the bat to turn into a man. A beautiful man who dresses and talks like a 19th-century prince who claims to be a vampire. But not any vampire; The Vampire Prince. All caps.
