Summary
Peter Hale is a big-shot city lawyer, returning home to the small town of Beacon Hills for the holidays. Having money and being important is surely all he thinks about, and there's no way he can step back from work long enough to appreciate the holiday season with loved ones.
Stiles Stilinski is a destitute retail worker just hoping to survive the holiday season and maybe make enough cash to get back to school. He's tired of all the bells and whistles, the seasonal music, the endless Christmas cheer.
Alpha and Omega. Both lonely souls looking for something. Will this Christmas season and interfering family members be enough to teach these two grinches the meaning of Christmas? Or is that just the narrative a couple of annoying people are projecting on a pair of dudes who would really rather everybody butt out so they can go on a proper date and enjoy the season in peace?

Summary
Jaskier gets jumped by a bunch of bandits, who happen to be so dumb as to stab him with an ancient artifact. When he wakes up, the bandits are slaughtered, and Jaskier has a new hunger. He decides he can't and won't live like this, and searches out a witcher to kill him when he's unsuccessful himself. Of course......he finds Geralt, or does Geralt find him?

When Jaskier wakes up, the light is uncommonly bright to his eyes, and he has to squint against it. He’s not sure he remembers going to sleep the previous night, and briefly accuses himself of gulping down the bottle of Toussainti wine he’d filched from the inn, leaving a few crowns in its place.He rubs his hands over his face, and realises that as he does so, the strange metallic scent that hangs in the air gets stronger. When he pulls his hands away to look at his palms, he stiffens. There are red stains on the skin, some of it dried and flaking in the creases.
It’s very definitely not wine.

It shouldn’t have happened. Experimental Witcher trials and toxins rendered him sterile. Even before Jaskier’s first heat caught him off guard one night while they were travelling through Redania, they spoke about it.
There would be no children. Ruts and heats would pass them both by without anything to show from it, and Jaskier struggled to even find anything wrong with that.
Geralt’s life doesn’t accommodate younglings. And Jaskier has never seen himself as some brooding maternal omega his mother envisioned when he first presented all those years ago.
And yet, here they are.
