Summary
Shauna hadn't seen Jackie in five years. Five years since their friendship blew up, Jackie presented as an alpha, and walked straight out of Shauna's life. And that was just fine. Shauna was doing fine. Great even. She was in grad school. She had close friends. And she definitely wasn't lacking in fun, casual sex.
But here's the thing: alpha Jackie wasn't what she'd expected at all. And maybe that was a sign of personal growth, so congrats, Jackie! But it also made her much more dangerous to Shauna's sanity.

Summary
Josie had always thought that if Hope ever found herself between Josie's legs, it would be the result of something a lot... different.
Not that Josie had ever thought about it at all of course!
She had just never expected Hope to be down on her knees in front of her, leaving a pair of prominent punctures on her neck, as opposed to sweet kisses.
"It won't hurt." Hope nudges her nose against the side of Josie's neck. "I promise." She swears it like an oath.
Josie hopes that her fingers aren't crossed behind her back.

She was supposed to stop in New Orleans, grab Hope and her sister, take them back to the school, and be done with the supernatural-temper-tantrum that had been lasting far too long.
