Summary
Pond Naravit Lertratkosum was the son of his mother’s sister, a cousin from the maternal side of the family. He’d been close to Phuwin when he’d been here, and he’d honestly tried to keep in contact but Phuwin’d never been able to breach the distance through texts or calls. Secretly, he’d felt betrayed by Pond’s decision to leave him behind and go live his college life.
Sullen, but fighting his own illogical responses, Phuwin would send one-word replies to Pond’s paragraphs of texts and twenty-minute voice messages and endless TikTok reels, if he was in a steady, good mood. Otherwise, he spared Pond of his exhausted vitriol by ignoring him completely. He stopped taking his calls altogether.
It was, in a word, astounding, when Pond accepted the invitation for Phuwin’s nineteenth birthday party.

Summary
In retrospect, Phuwin should’ve seen this coming, maybe. Should’ve known that Pond would want more of that and buy a whole damn house for him (them) under the guise of making things easier for Phuwin, because Phuwin asked his help in buying a good property soon and Pond said sure. Slowly, he’s transforming this house into his territory, and Phuwin doesn’t even know if Pond realizes it.
