Summary
Armand and Daniel's relationship continues into the 1980s in San Francisco. They are lovers after Daniel marries Alice and after he becomes a father. When Alice is out of town, Armand stays over to help Daniel with Kate and baby Lenora. They have moments of domestic bliss, but Daniel is desperately addicted to Armand's blood.
Decades later in Dubai, Daniel finds something unsettlingly familiar and alluring about Rashid.
“You’re the orange crayon.” Kate dumps out a box containing crayons, colored pencils, and fruit scented erasers onto the table. She pulls out a child’s size chair at her play table and looks at Armand with expectant eyes.
“You have to sit down.”
“Do I?” Armand stares down at the precocious seven year old. Kate nods.Armand looks at Kate’s innocent expression. She looks so much like Daniel in her face and mannerisms. And the same adorable head of curls.

The doorbell rings. Daniel gives Armand’s cock a quick squeeze, perhaps a little too roughly if his choked sound of pleasure-pain is anything to go by.
Daniel leaves to get the door, tuning into the sound of Armand’s breathing a room away. He seems to be doing some kind of ‘in for five, out for seven’ calming mindfulness shit, and Daniel needs a moment in front of the door to mentally transition from ‘Profoundly Horny Creature of the Night’ to ‘Grovelling Human Father of Two’.
He takes his own steadying inhale, matching it to another round of Armand’s dick-softening breathwork, and opens the door.
Daniel and Armand host a dinner for Daniel's daughters. The daughters he hasn't seen in years. The daughters who have no idea their father is a) engaged, and b) engaged to a guy who looks younger than they do. But Armand's perfected his steak recipe, so everything will be fine. Probably. Maybe.

The guy asked with a disgusting smile and Daniel was ready to talk back like the brat he was, yet Armand had an immediate answer, said so bluntly the man didn’t even know how to answer.
“Of course it’s Daniel, I always thought he would be the perfect housewife” Armand shrugs and then laughs to brush it off, pretending not to notice the way Daniel’s cheeks flush, the way he tightens his fists and shifts uncomfortably in place for the entire part of the hang out.
Him and Armand had pulled some freaky shit, but now Daniel had no idea if he was aroused or offended. Armand knew which one.
