Summary
Emmelyn Walker was only 19 when all hell broke loose in Raccoon City. She only made it out alive thanks to running into some other unlucky people: a rookie cop late for his first day and another college student searching for her brother.
Now 9 years later, her entire life revolves around her work at the DSO, fighting alongside her partner of many years; Leon S. Kennedy. They had no choice but to join, choosing to protect others before themselves. They're not only partners but they eventually became close friends, a bond having formed between them through proximity and shared experiences.
But when a mission goes wrong and Emmelyn is kidnapped by an unforeseen enemy, Leon is left grasping at straws, doing everything he possibly can to track her down. What he finds though is enough to make even the most seasoned agent's stomach churn.

She lightly blows the smoke into his welcoming mouth, this time pressing her lips more confidently to his. She forcefully pulls his hair back again, so that he is now staring straight up at the starry sky. She waits for him to finish exhaling clouds into the darkness, and then more delicately pulls his head back down into an actual kiss.
My take on what happened between escaping Raccoon City and Claire leaving to find Chris.
