Megatron pulled his cigarette out of his mouth looking down at the red one, but did not bother drawing back his foot. “...Go away.”
The red one just looked up, watching the warlord’s old face, persistently pawing at him a few times more— as though it was willing to try the grumpy man’s patience despite its tiny body.
“Go away,” gruffly repeated Megatron, a faint frown revealing the wrinkles on his wide forehead further. “...I don’t like cats.”

Mixmaster and Scrapper had not been informed of Starscream’s arrival. Megatron must not have thought it important. He just turned up one cycle, all tall and slender and looking like a million cyber-bucks.
They weren’t strangers to beautiful machinery, but they’d only ever seen jets way up in the sky, little specks gliding through the clouds. Never up close like this, all sharp edges and tiny waists. He put the little automobiles they would chase out on the streets to shame.
