Summary
Chocolate orbs scan down the pillars with the fairy lights as she hurriedly paces through the open corridor. People passing her and cheering her on see the blur of black hair and white clothing. She knew her eyes weren’t lying to her, that the person she was talking to Mami before the show was her.
In such a packed venue, it grew difficult for her to chase after that person she saw in a similar outfit that was next to Mami. She grows tense, what if Kim had left?
The Latina felt her nerves growing so she slowed her pace. She thought about the half-Indian woman, their connection to each other wasn’t something she had tried in a while. How would they find each other here?
Catherine and the other agents gave Trini a bit more space. They could see her turning around, searching for a face in a sea of people. She goes to inform them to turn around and stumbles onto the heels of someone squarely into their arms.
True to the Universe’s timing, it was those honey orbs with golden flecks that Trini got lost in, the ones that always felt comfy and safe for Trini to simply exist in.

Summary
Kim lets the tears flow down her face as the 80-year-old woman wipes her tears away. She understands all the levels of pain Kim’s currently in. She smiles encouragingly at Kim to ask the question that’s been burning on her tongue the entire visit. Kim croaks out.
“What makes you so sure that it’s us? Why us? How can you be so sure of something you know nothing about?”
The woman doesn’t miss a beat, cutting right to the point. “Because you’re soulmates.”
“Oh, my star. Anyone can tell you that she’s in love with you ... she’s been in love with you since the beginning of time.”
Kim exhales, shaking her head. “Moving away doesn’t change that. The simple fact being that … soulmates never die. She’ll find her way back to you or you’ll find your back to her but, the point being; you’ll both find a way back to each other.”

Trini is forced to move away under the guise of saving Kim's life and returns six years later. And, you know the thing about soulmates, right?
