Summary
When Leanna Mullen moves to Henrietta, Virginia, with her mother, Neeve, she doesn’t quite understand the reason. She knows that Maura Sargent—her aunt—is looking for something, or someone, and Neeve is going to help her find it. She also knows that Henrietta has a surprising amount of supernatural activity and that it has a lot of energy.
What she doesn’t expect, however, is that her cousin, Blue, will meet the guy who she supposedly falls in love with and kills, or that he and his friends are on a search for a dead Welsh king that they think lies asleep somewhere.
As Leanna learns more about the quest, she also grows closer with Georgia Matthews, the one person at school who seems to understand her.
As the weeks go by, Leanna gets caught up in the quest—and whatever she feels for Georgia.

Jean was eyeing him thoughtfully. “Unless you want to hang out?” he asked. “My roommate is at his boyfriend’s.”
The word echoed like a gong in Jeremy’s head. Whatever was going on with his expression made Jean frown. “I’m not gay,” he clarified.
“I know, me neither,” Jeremy said, quickly.
