    Link was maybe an hour into foraging with Hyrule when they found the mushrooms.

    This wouldn’t have been a problem had they seen them, but that wasn’t the case. Hyrule was walking first and his foot broke through the top soil into a cavity. A cloud of spores flew up – right in Hyrule’s face and far too close for him to escape it all. Link pulled up his scarf as quickly as possible, panic halfway through his mind. He seized Hyrule’s arm and dragged him clear, until Hyrule caught his breath.

    “Down,” Hyrule gasped. “Put me down, give me – give me a second.”

    Link complied, at least in part. He waited until he saw Hyrule could keep his balance, then slid his hand up and into his neck, checking his pulse. As he did so, Hyrule paused in trying to wipe off his face and leaned into his touch with an almost liquid sigh of relief.

    “...I have a bad feeling about what those mushrooms were,” Link said.

    "This is what you want?" Zagreus asks, licking his lips. His voice tore at Thanatos' thoughts, although his own desire and lust were beginning to expand more and more, taking over more and more logical thought. He loves taking it slowly and patiently, playing with his own hunger and urge to have it ruined and sobbing with pleasure. It was exciting just to think about having the prince of the underworld so full of it and taking away his ability to think.

     

    “Yes,” Thanatos murmured. “Gods, yes.”

    Although I hope the gods have their sights elsewhere. Zagreus thought.
