Reeling from the news, he did his best to take care of Christopher and make Eddie’s medical decisions in accordance with Eddie’s wishes. If only the other people in Eddie’s life understood that, instead of challenging Buck at every turn.

Either way, he had a date, so he couldn’t go.
But…Dodgers tickets.
His phone buzzed, this time with a picture of the tickets, which…wow.
He’d be able to count the hairs on Mary Hart’s head from those seats.
Eddie flipped over to his texts with Ana. Not feeling well, he texted, shoving aside his mother’s voice telling him how rude this was. Raincheck?
