When Ten turned around to sit back down and was greeted by the very sudden sight of a figure looming over them, they shrieked like a barn owl and very nearly jumped out of their skin.
A paw came down onto the backrest on either side of Ten’s head and a chipper voice unbefitting of the situation exclaimed, “Hi, Tenny!”
“Fourteen, what are you doing here?!” Ten cried shrilly, moving to scramble away, but the arms on either side of them adjusted to cage them in. “How’d you even get in? I locked the door this time!”
“But not the windows!” Fourteen said in sing-song.
Ah, so an animal had been clawing at his window.OR
Fourteen breaks into Ten’s house to eat him. Ten somehow has mixed feelings about this.

Ten blinked once, then again, befuddled. Was Fourteen, the guy that ate their skin, seriously asking Ten to let him live with them? Was he dense?OR

Summary
After two months of hiding it seems the sun is finally returning to normal and the visitors, unable to handle the temperature change, are rapidly dying off. With it being safe to return outside the homeowner’s guests set out to return to their lives. For the first time since the “apocalypse” he finds himself alone and oddly enough the man finds that he no longer enjoys the solitude that he once craved. Eager for something familiar, he decides to open his home to guests again. The homeowner quickly learns to be careful what you wish for when a familiar pale visitor returns, this time as his new roommate.

A Palegun fic where they end up as roommates. Intruder regresses to a more human-like state as it gets colder, and becomes more monstrous as it warms up (Infection goes dormant and flares up based on temperature).
