Seonghwa’s cheeks are flushed. “My cycle,” he whispers. “I think it’s starting.”
The air shifts between them.
Hongjoong sits up just a little straighter, instantly attentive. “You’re going into heat?” His grip tightens around the ceramic handle of his mug, knuckles going white as the words sink into the quiet.
