Minghao has suddenly found it a little difficult to talk. He can only say dumbly, "You...you'll protect me?"
Jeonghan smiles, so very beautifully. Then he lets go of Minghao to pick a lithe jasmine and tuck it behind Minghao's ear. His fleeting touch is warm, a foreign sensation that's somehow not unfamiliar at all, and the ghost of the feeling of Minghao’s ears burning pink like they easily used to back when he was a mortal prickles at his face.
"I'll protect you. Leave it to me."
Angels are suddenly wreaking havoc down in the underworld, and Minghao fears for his town and his legion. They've never gone to war, most of them were never fighters in their mortal life, and they have no clue what the angels are capable of. Minghao can only turn to Yoon Jeonghan for help, a beautiful fallen angel who has become the most powerful demon in existence, but who Minghao doesn't have very high opinions of.

"You're the whole reason we're here," Chan insists, but Minghao shakes his head.
"I never once thought it'd be possible to get out before I met you, Channie." Minghao reaches out to zip up Chan's jacket as a breeze blows past them. "You're my brother. And you're my hero."
Chan, who's had a superhero complex all his life mixed with wanting to mean something to Minghao since the moment they met, feels tears filling his eyes. "But you're my hero."
Minghao squishes Chan's face and tells him they can be each other's heroes.
The story of the lives of Chan and Minghao after they escape from the gang they grew up in and try to live as normal civilians. It's not easy, but they have each other and that'll get them through.

“I won.” Hinata breathes.
Finally. Two simple words that have carried him since he’d graduated from Karasuno. Two words that had strung him across the world to get better and be better. Two words that had been thrown at him on the last match at nationals in their first year when he was hot from fever and shame.
Two words he can finally return.
Or quite simply, Hinata's thoughts and feelings from the top of the summit, lips painted heavy with triumph.
