A silly little thing I wrote because ZhenYi has taken over my brain and I miss writing for them.
Ouyang Zizhen is tired of his life- sick of feeling trapped in an endless cycle of misery day in and day out under his Fathers tyranny.

His plans were derailed when a moth the size of his palm flew at him so fast it failed at stopping in time and crashed into his face. It was quick to right itself, and perched itself on the tip of his nose as it fluttered its soft, fluffy looking wings.
“Pick me!” It seemed to be begging, even if Lan Wangji was incapable of hearing the little things voice.
Despite himself, Lan Wangji found himself smiling softly at the bug and coaxing it to crawl onto his finger instead of his nose.

Harua folded his ears back with an awkward half‑smile. “You know how people talk. You, a familiar without a witch; him, a human without magic. It’s… cute, in a tragic‑symmetry kind of way.”

Yuma snaps out of it. Poor Jo—he'd left him hanging. "Yeah, sorry. He texted me."
"Nicholas?"
"Harua."
"Oh." Jo sounds a little confused. "What did he have to say?"
"He's giving me tips on how to seduce his brother," Yuma replies. With new energy, he springs from the mattress and throws his closet doors open, squeezing past his parents’ storage boxes to rummage through the hangers. "I guess I have to sneak a crop top into my outfits this week somehow."
A pause. The scratching of pencil against paper on the other end. "This deal seems odd," is all Jo says, before falling silent again.
(or: yuma, a burnt out college sophomore on summer break, and harua, a wannabe rebel stuck in gap year hell, make a deal with nicholas as the collateral. other things end up on the line, too.)
