There’s a boy around Andrew’s age with unnatural indigo eyes, his mother Mary who exists more as shadow than person, and his father, Nathan, who radiates something deeply, irreparably wrong.
Or the story of Andrew and Neil growing up as adopted brothers, getting torn apart, and finding their way back to each other years later.
