Summary
This is a fan comic of SerenitySolitude's "The Acting Was a Lie". I have asked and received the author's permission to share it. Thank you.
Aether invites Thoma to Mondstadt and one of the first places they visit is actually Angel's Share. Being proud of the honor, Diluc wants to make sure they will leave a good first impression on Thoma. So, naturally, he's ready to do many things for Aether to don't regret bringing the hardworking housekeeper. And surprisingly, Kaeya helped him a lot by putting out his marvelous acting. But...
The acting was a lie.

Summary
“Haha… Oh, I have far more important matters to attend to. There are so many things to… to prepare," Kaeya told Paimon and Lumine with an exhausted smile before sending them off to finish the day's commissions.
—
The knights’ party for Jean was a success—she could finally sit down, relax, and enjoy a rare moment of peace with her friends. But this wasn’t just about giving her a break. It was a long-overdue tribute to how much Mondstadt relied on her.
The mastermind behind the party? He was perfectly fine letting everyone believe it wasn’t him.
Lumine wasn’t. He deserved the credit, whether he liked it or not.
(set after Jean's first Story Quest)

Summary
Whilst Diluc tends the bar at Angel's Share, an unusually quiet Kaeya comes to visit. Unable to be left alone, Diluc has to help Kaeya back home.
All the while, memories of the past, of the brothers they used to be, remind Diluc of what could have been. Their broken relationship doesn't have to remain broken, and Diluc wants so badly to make amends. But reconciliation isn't as simple as it seems, and an apology can't fix everything.Bookmarked by Yunike

Summary
Everything had been going fine, until the conversation shifted dangerously towards the past, and specifically, Eroch.
“Traitor.” Diluc snarled. “Disturbing everyone and just committing suicide without any accountability for his actions.” He took a heavy breath, taking a rough sip of his drink. “What a coward.”
Under the table, Kaeya’s hand unconsciously grabbed his scarred wrist.
--------------------
Or, to summarize, after hearing Diluc's opinion on Eroch's suicide, Kaeya can't help but be ashamed of himself, afraid of what Diluc would think of him if he knew the truth.
