Summary
When Gangle placed her suggestion in the box, a part of her did so knowing it would never get picked. So when Caine needs a quick, easy adventure to tide everyone over, it's her high school prom idea that's plucked out of the suggestion box. While she'd often dreamed of a chance to overwrite the memory of her own prom, she still can't quite escape the chokehold it has on her.
But she's not the only one who's trying to keep themself from looking back. Skipping out on adventures is nothing new to them, but this one in particular hits home for Zooble in a way they'd rather not think too hard about. But to give Gangle the night she's dreamed of—that she deserves—Zooble has to decide if they can set their own feelings aside for one night, for her.
Because obviously just talking to her about it would be too easy.

Summary
The view was almost fantasy with how the sky reflected in the deep, black porcelain of her mask. It was even more impressive than the real thing, and it didn't stop at just the reflection. Gangle herself glowed in the night; the soft starlight made her ribbons shimmer like pearls, and it all accentuated how she spoke with so much passion about… anime? Her art, maybe? It was a blur. They wanted to listen, truly, but Zooble's head had gone fuzzy and aimless. Only one thought managed to slip through as they sighed fondly.
Really, they wouldn’t mind gazing into her for forever.

Delicious Pixel content that gives her SO much emotion and depth. Her path of greif and self disection of her personhood in relation to zane is just so so so good, you can really feel how all these emotions she doesnt know what to do with affect her. Shes devistated, resentful, angry, apathetic, ahamed, loving. God its so good. Only chapter 1 out rn but im so excited for the rest 100/10
