While they're shopping, the store they're at gets robbed and the two of them become hostages. During all the chaos, Lucy's water breaks so Tim ends up having to juggle how to keep Lucy safe and getting them out of there safety without escalating the situation. Being told to shut up always hurt. More than he suspected it should. Soap once had drunkenly apologized to Gaz for being such a loudmouth, and when Gaz insisted that everyone liked his friendly chattiness, Soap had literally flopped over him in relief and confessed that being told to shut up was like being kicked. No other insult or fight had the same effect on him.
Except, perhaps, being called useless.
