Summary
Before her final year of college, Yang moves into an old house on the edge of campus. Like a puzzle box, the house reveals itself in time – staircases going nowhere, hallways twisting into labyrinthine passages, and a ghost that’s been haunting it for longer than she can remember. Yang and the ghost are drawn together in an August kind of love, sun-soaked and inevitable.
But summer doesn't last forever. As Yang retreats further from reality, she and the ghost have no choice but to delve deeper into the labyrinth, or find a way out together.

But when she awakes next morning, she finds a raven-haired woman in the place where the grimm is supposed to be, and suddenly Blake's plans don't seem as concrete as she once thought.

Summary
“Weiss, I gotta call you back.”
Blake’s heart thunders in her ribcage in her throat in her ears when her gaze lands on the face that has become a familiar ghost of her dreams, a common refrain of her regrets.
From across the terminal is Yang standing with a duffel bag hooked over her shoulder.
Slower on the uptake, Blake can only watch as Yang closes the distance between them, exaggerating the way she looks both ways before stopping just a foot away from her.
“Hi, Blake.”
“Yang,” Blake breathes out, finally taking Yang’s appearance up close. Leather hiking boots with uneven cuffs on dark washed jeans, an olive green bomber jacket over a white v-neck shirt. Blake spots the same aviators perched atop a mass of blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. Yang looks the same, Blake thinks. Still easily and unassumingly beautiful. “Hi.”
