Jim thought that going back in time would fix everything, and well, he was not wrong. Just that he needs to be more careful about what he changes. Maybe He should've not gotten himself involved, or just not this early... BUT in his defence he didn't think he would go back this far, he just wanted to go back to when the stuff with the Arcane order started. not WEEKS before he even picked up the original amulet.
