Summary
One of the first stories Sabo hears in the Grey Terminal is about the Terror. According to the old beggars gathered around their campfires and willing to indulge a little boy too curious for his own good, the beast isn’t all that large, but wicked fast, and deadly with spine and claw.
After a couple of weeks spent sleeping in a nest of trash some three miles or so from the Great Gate, Sabo gets a real look at the Terror.
It’s... small.

Summary
The voices calling after him didn’t fade, following after him in his tear to get back where he had seen it-
It. Which was still there. It, that, coming to the bottom of the stairs, people on his heels, Sabo froze up in the presence of. It, which clearly wasn’t a figment of Sabo’s imagination or a sign of his already damaged mind cracking even further, because the voices directly behind him all went eerily silent at the sight, so they were seeing it too.
It. A familiar visage, one he had seen just yesterday, asking Ann to use the Bijo Bijo no Mi to recreate for Luffy’s sake. For old time’s sake. For weakness sake.
It, that was flaring weaker now than the bright image burned into Sabo’s eyes, but was amazingly still there, despite the dip in the sea that should have dispersed all of Sabo’s flames.
It, that was curled over itself, arms wrapped around it’s middle, wheezing uproariously. It- He, that pointed at Sabo, facsimile of tears in his eyes that couldn’t possibly be there, because he was flame-
He... That laughed, finally cackling out in a way that made Sabo’s heart stutter and something in his lungs tighten dangerously.

Summary
Well. It's been a really nice dream.
It’s strange to think about it, but he had a lot of fun playing with these boys. He truly felt like a child. Perhaps, it's a small gift to replace his forgotten childhood memories.
A dream that feels so real it’s almost convincing. As if he truly spent the day running through the forest, hunting crocodiles for food and splashing through the river with two imaginary boys — friends.
Ace and Luffy, huh.
(or: Sabo wakes up in the past. He still has amnesia.)
