He's understandably concerned and livid that you would choose to distract yourself from the Resistance cause by doing something so foolish, but maybe you wouldn't have to chase thrills if he would just give you a meaningful assignment once in a while. And isn't it a little hypocritical for an unbearable show-off like Poe Dameron to be getting on your case?
Caught between duty and rebellion, you propose a wager: a race against Poe himself. If he wins, you'll come quietly back to D'Qar to face the consequences of your actions. If you win... well, you'll just have to find a way to humiliate your smug commander once and for all.

Finally, he musters some kind of courage to respond. “What?” he asks, realizing his voice is covered in black sand.
She hesitates, but not for long. “You could—you could blindfold me. That way you can take off your helmet, your gloves, anything. I won’t be able to see and we won’t have to worry about it.”
