“That’s not all, Su-bong!” Manager Kang shouted after him. “The label is expecting a new release hinted at in the interview. Knowing you, you probably don’t have any written yet, but–”
“Then let me work my magic!” Su-bong retorted. Lounging back on the demo chair with his feet propped up on the soundboard, he ignored all dignified splutters that came from his manager’s mouth. He flexed his fingers, cracked his neck, and rolled his shoulders a few times. "Listen, listen, listen,” he said, making a placating gesture with his hands. “I’ll get some lyrics in, I guess, get a producer or two to come down here, and we can work it out!”
“And how do you expect to do that when your assistant’s already waiting on you?” Manager Kang hissed out, practically forcing the words through his teeth.
“Well, maybe that’s their problem, not–” Su-bong went rigid, suddenly kicking his feet off the table. Wait. “Assistant?!"

Summary
On Monday, Flash catches Michelle's gaze in the hall and Michelle catches his, turns it into something dark and scathing, and throws it back. The incline of his eyebrow is asking, have you sorted Peter's shit out yet? Michelle doesn't even bother schooling into her features into an expression that could read as an answer. He's not worth her time.
And, plus, the answer is no.
She's given up all her recent opportunities to question Peter. She doesn't want to interrogate him about his life. She doesn't want him to think she cares.
Because she doesn't. Not really. The thought of caring, of being actively involved in someone else's life seems messy. Complicated. Especially if that someone is Peter Parker.
This is why she sticks to observing people quietly from the sidelines.
(Peter has been acting weird and Michelle tries not to care).
(And fails).
