He had gone over this moment in his mind so many times but he never imagined it would ever actually arrive. He’d long ago resigned himself to forever being unhappy, convinced he just wasn’t meant to enjoy his life. Now that it was here, he’d expected to be ecstatic, to be relieved, to feel like he could do anything.
Yet, somehow, he felt even emptier than before.

Stolas huffed a laugh and pushed him back again, like he was beneath him, and it was driving him nuts.
“You don’t understand, Blitz. I need it to be real. I’ve always been curious how you’d treat me if you didn’t see me as a sad baby-gay you could break in.” He stepped forward, hand cupping Blitz’s neck, so soft he could hardly stand it. “I’m not yours to break anymore. So how are you going to treat me?”

“What's your name?” Stolas asked, knowing he sounded almost distressed and pathetic, but he was so desperate to know. To learn anything about Blitzø. “I'm Stolas.”
She looked almost amused. “I know who the fuck you are, your highness.”
Stolas shook his head. “Just Stolas, please.” He extended his hand. With all the hesitance in the world, the woman accepted the handshake, pulling away quickly after the briefest of contact.
“I'm Barbie,” she offered.

The crisp night air greets him as he makes it out of the heavy front doors. He unties the stupid long cloak from his neck, flinging it carelessly over a bush. His hat is next, flung behind him with a thud. His head already feels lighter. He keeps walking, the palace cobblestones shifting to standard cement. He stops once he realizes he has no idea where to go, just that he wants something different.
Something loud, something he's not tried before. He's so unbearably lonely and bored with his life. He waves his hand and conjures a portal, the rainy skies of Lust appearing before him. He barely travels to other rings aside from rituals, but if there's one place that's opposite the stuffy air in the palace, it's Lust.

Summary

Can be summed up with the idiots in love tag. Predominantly fluff and slice of life, with some hurt/comfort for spice. There is smut, but it's avoidable.
