Summary
Immortals have hidden among mortals for thousands of years. Humans and mobians that live for hundreds or thousands of years and never grow older after the day they experience their first death. They can be history's greatest tyrants or noble heroes guiding us from the shadows and watching over us like guardian angels.
On a calm night walking her home with her son and his friend a young vixen discovers her own immortality when she falls victim to a random act of violence and meets one of those immortal heroes.
Now with his help she must face what she's become and learn to fight and survive in order to protect herself and those she cares about.

Summary
Another day. Another mission to foil Eggman. It would be a good distraction from the questions plaguing the young kits mind lately and a good playing field to test the new mini-bombs he had devised.
At least that's what Tails thought until things took a turn for the weird and he found himself exploring his past in a way that's a little to real. All he can do now is put one foot in front of the other and press forward through this strange place looking for answers and a way to make peace with what he finds. Only the memories that unfold as he perseveres and the two people he meets along the way will reveal where this journey will take him and what lessons he'll learn.

Summary
The only context needed here is that Melinda is the immortal adoptive mother I gave to Tails in a Highlander crossover. This was a fun little bit of venting I wrote with my frustrations on Rosemary being written as so inept and borderline abusive in the Archie comic after I proposed the idea of Melinda chewing her out and my readers on Tumblr were receptive to it.
The concept is that this would be a scene in an dimension-hopping plot where the versions of the cast from my gameworld AU wound up dumped in the Archie universe and meeting their counterparts.

She's also going to figure out to deal with the fact her body obviously went "missing" from the morgue when she got up and walked out.

There is one thing that binds all immortals, both good and evil, there is a creed that holds for all of them:
There can be only one.When one immortal challenges another, they fight to the death. The winner takes the losers head, and their strength and knowledge with it. There is one rule immortals must follow, inside or outside of these duels, they cannot kill on holy ground.
