Joe woke up in a cold sweat, darting off the bed. The white light pierced his vision as he frantically looked around the unfamiliar place.
...Wait, what?
Joe paused before hastilly gripping onto his chest, the realization slowly dawning on him. He was ALIVE, he was BREATHING.
Before he could think any further, something appeared on the screen in front of him:
"Congratulations on taking part of the Asunaro realistic virtual human experimentation project! Welcome to your new home, a place where you can all heal, rest assured, you are SAFE here."
A.k.a Oneshots about an AU where the entire game was just an VR incredibly realistic experiment done by Asunaro, and now all the contestants are living together in a facility where they will be helped so that they could recover from what happened, and maybe even go out to live in the normal world! All Joe-centric, includes povs of other characters tho!
( EDIT: Not caught up with canon though and am replaying but my story will still follow my personal headcanon, I might add or change some things in the future to fit with canon. 1st Chapter was edited a bit)
