Summary
A wild Borrower (19 years old) named Samantha (or Sam or Sammy for short) lives out alone in the forests as far away from humans as she can get. Caught between needing to find food and shelter and trying to stay out of the way of Pokémon that battle each other over food, territory, and petty ego conflicts, she struggles to survive in the world of Pokémon. Of course, this is harder said than done when it turns out that the wonderful creatures called Pokémon have no intentions of leaving her alone. Specifically, an action-first-thoughts-later clefairy named Nebula who serves as a guardian fairy for a Pokemon exclusive refuge against humans, and a timid Yanma named Yammy who each become a lot more involved in her life than she might have liked.
Also, something brews behind the scenes. In the greater forest, there have been rumors of Pokémon much smaller than the typical members of their species. Is this some natural event, or does it have a human cause? And how does it relate to the existence of Borrowers? A mystery is at foot, and all of it involves Samantha and her missing parents somehow.

Summary
Every year, Hope's Peak Pokemon Training Academy recruits the most promising upcoming pokemon trainers and gathers them together in one place, to encourage their development as trainers. This year's intake includes one Kiyotaka Ishimaru, who's eager for the chance to get some serious training done! How else would he be able to show the world that the Ishimaru family won't ALL resort to machine-enhanced pokemon to beat the Elite Four, like his grandfather did?
(AU where the DR cast live in the pokemon world (with a few changes- see notes). The main focus will be on Kiyotaka, however I will be switching between the POV of various different characters as I write this, so there will hopefully be characters arcs that revolve around other characters as the story progresses.)
