Summary
It starts as studying together, and a party with Jane's softball teammates. Maura and Jane forge a friendship, but then Maura lies that she's dating Jane to avoid her parents setting her up with some guy named Garrett. She needs Jane's help to keep up the lie, and Jane agrees, because she's single, and not even into girls, so it doesn't matter.
...Right?

Summary
“Here, Jane,” the director says, tapping the elbow of a tall, dark-haired woman turned away from them. She pivots back, and Maura recognizes her immediately. Then Maura wonders what she’s doing here. Jane Rizzoli is an action star, known for doing most of her own stunts and spearheading the recent movement to bring more women into action roles. What the hell is she doing in a cable procedural?
-
Jane walks away from Maura Isles and wonders what the hell she’s doing here. Maura is an art house film type, independently wealthy after her childhood role blew up and choosy with her roles as a result; what had brought her to a police procedural? She has chops, Jane can admit— she's seen a couple of those films. But still. Is her money running out? Because Jane can’t think of any other reason she’d be here.
OR
Jane and Maura, two actors from very different parts of the industry, come together to work on the latest police procedural: Maura, as the young, tough detective, and Jane as the experienced medical examiner. Soon, they realize they're not well-equipped to play their specific roles-- but the other one is.

Summary
“I thought I’d washed everything of his,” JJ says as Emily places another shirt in the Will pile. “But I keep finding them—“ Her words choke off.
Emily hears, and places a gentle hand on her knee. It’s only there for a moment, but JJ feels it, strong and warm, like she hasn't really felt anything else in the last few weeks. Emily says nothing, because she knows there isn’t anything that will make it better, but she squeezes before letting go. It rips JJ’s throat, the quiet understanding and acceptance, but she holds in the tears; she needs to be together while her boys aren’t, to show everyone that she’s okay.
Emily doesn’t leave until the clothes are put away, the dishwasher is running, and she’s wiped down every surface in the shared bathroom upstairs. She pauses by the door, reaching out to grip JJ’s wrist for a moment. “Back soon,” she says, eyes sympathetic, mouth faintly curved. “See you then.”
After Emily’s gone, and she’s alone again, JJ weeps.
OR
JJ, on leave from the BAU after Will's death, just wants to be alone, and Emily... well, Emily doesn't know how to do anything but show up.
Set after Season 18, ep 3 "Time to Say Goodbye".

Summary
“Thanks, Maur,” Jane said.
Maura felt the scales tip ever so slightly with the word, even as the Name echoed. It wasn’t entirely unpleasant. There. Thanks given, and a favor asked and paid. Progress enough, for the day. “I’ll be in the lab if you need anything else.” Satisfied, Maura turned to go, but felt Jane’s hand on her shoulder. It could only be Jane’s hand; no one else touched Maura so familiarly, so warmly.
“Hey, don’t forget this,” Jane said, and her other hand presented a cup. “It might be kinda cold, sorry. I meant to bring it after lunch, but things got a little hectic.” Maura stared at the coffee, the gift, and wanted to yell. Jane pushed it into her hand and smiled, eyes crinkling, completely unaware. “It’s your fave. From down the block.”
Damnit, she thought, but Jane’s kindness did what it always did, and Maura accepted the gift— and the accompanying imbalance. The only thing she could do to prevent further damage was nod, and flee.

Summary
Sequel to Hermione Granger and the Old Mystery. Hermione and Asher have been together for over a year, but all is not well: old enemies return, Asher faces the loss of her job and/or arrest as the Ministry discovers her heritage, and Hermione is determined to set things right. She finds that not all the challenges are external, and that perhaps dating a succubus is a bit more complicated than she'd thought..
This story has been abandoned and will remain unfinished. Some explanation is in the last chapter notes.
ETA: I wrote this before JKR started showing her true colors. I leave this up for posterity, but I do not support JKR or any of her hateful views in any way.

Summary
Before Myka can make a single comment, Greer has crossed the room. She kneels in front of Myka, avoiding the cast carefully, then reaches up into her own hair for a moment. “Right,” she says, reaching for Myka’s hands, and Myka can only blink and panic as Greer lifts them up and closes her eyes.
“What—“ What Myka wants to ask is, ‘What the hell is this?” Because she has to be hallucinating. Sure, she’d asked for something interesting, but Greer sweeping in here, looking like a lesbian’s wet dream, kneeling in front of her and holding her hands like she’s about to say something meaningful and romantic is not the kind of interesting thing she’d meant. Besides, Greer is hours away, at college in Illinois. This cannot be real.
Or, after an artifact retrieval goes wrong, Myka is left in a bulky cast, and artifacts are popping up left and right. Desperate, Artie calls for Greer MacGowan to come back to help, not realizing what he's setting in motion.
NOTE: New ending is posted! If you’ve already read it before 9/11/25 you might wanna go back and read the last chapter again.

“I’ll kill her,” Myka had said. That’s not, in her heart of hearts, what she had meant.

Summary
A collection of one-shots set in the slight AU of Held In Trust, in the 6 months after the end of that story. When I add bits, I will be doing so chronologically; a chapter’s placement may change. As of 05/13/25, 21 is newest.
Many things happen here. So many things. Gay things, music things, Hot Mess Myka… you get the idea.
ALSO: I went back and looked at the YouTube playlist I made way back when for Held In Trust, and.. y’all listened to that? It’s got, like, actual clicks? So, in interest of appeasing you crazy people, I have now made one called “Myka Bering, For Crying Out Loud”, in which Myka is way up in her feelings. (I have been told “Mom, no one uses YouTube anymore.” Fine. It’s now on Spotify too.)

Summary
Artie has worked in the Warehouse long enough to know that the initials in Bronze Sector also stand for Bull Shit. As in, anyone who has been in there speaks nothing but. And then he meets Greer Thomson, and slowly, he learns that sometimes, the Regents really screw up.
Note: This is but a lowly prequel. I realize now that I didn’t make it clear, but this starts a few months after Artie’s own career in the Warehouse originally began, when he himself was a young man.

Summary
The Bronze Sector: Most think of it as a place for the most insidious of mankind, an oubliette for the dangerous. But Scots-American Greer Thomson stumbled upon the Warehouse by accident, and policy of the early 1900s left her caged in bronze, brought out of confinement only when a person of her talents was needed, and returned when she was no longer useful. She has given up hope of ever leaving, but then Helena Wells walks in, and the seed is planted: What if she could escape? What if she had a reason to want to?
11/2019: Finished! Holy crap!!

Summary
Hermione Granger has returned to Hogwarts to teach after finishing her seventh year post-Battle. Surprisingly, so has the mysterious Asher, who had transferred from her school in America in their fourth year. Despite the fact that the other woman had been placed in Gryffindor, there is little Hermione knows about her, and she has decided that now is the time to find out just who, exactly, the new Potions professor is. She finds out more than she was expecting... This story is a re-post (with important edits), originally posted elsewhere. This may be a completed story, but I'm in the middle of writing the sequel, and feedback is always appreciated! Does it suck? Is it just sort of okay? Was something good? Let me know!
