Summary
This fic is for those who looked at the Iconoclast path and thought: "I can be more."
Why must radical change be the sole domain of Heretics while the Iconoclast just gets to be vaguely nice? Why is the only permitted interaction with a dogmatic Interrogator a flirtation, and not the ideological war he so richly deserves? And why is an Aeldari girlfriend allowed to pull the "you're not like other mon-keigh" card on the Rogue Trader who's supposed to be the champion of the people?

Summary
Narinder is used to the Lamb and their strange quirks. He is used to watching the Lamb do chores, gamble away their money in Knucklebones, fish, and other inane activities. Even being unable to read the Lamb's mind, The One Who Waits is confident that he knows the Lamb.
Until he realizes he doesn't.
The Lamb is suddenly very blank-faced, almost like a canvas. This is different than what he knows of them-- except when they are around their Followers. For some reason-- some strange, inexplicable reason-- the Lamb is only different around him.
Narinder must now balance dealing with the Lamb's bewildering behavior, becoming accustomed to mortal life, a stupid task from the Mystic Seller to fetch his siblings... and the whispers of strange happenings all around the cult-- all seemingly tied to a prophecy that rears its ugly head in his dreams that he cannot make heads nor tails of.
