"Excuse me, sir? Are you alright?" a flight attendant asked, noticing his pale face.
"I'm fine," Anxin said, forcing a smile. "Just a long night."
"I'm sure," she said, her eyes lingering on the red mark on his neck that he’d forgotten to cover. "Safe travels."
