A baby with pointed furry ears wails in the night, purple eyes squeezed shut in pain, and a small line of red blood oozes down the side of his tiny head. A man holding a simple kitchen knife hovers above him, mouth parted in terror when he sees the figure in the doorway shaking with rage. She lunges and the baby wails louder.
Krolia does what she does best and protects her child. No matter what. The Blades of Marmora don't understand, until they do. Purple gems twinkle and laughter echos through the halls while silver blades turn red from stains that can be removed, but stay. The child wails no longer.

Summary
Shiro and Keith's relationship grew in stages. Strangers, mentor-mentee, reluctant freinds, best friends and then finally family. Shiro knew, to a certain degree, that Keith had seen the stages end, broken and frayed, when he was captures by the Galra and presumed dead by the Garrison. He never really thought about it. What it would be like to live with the memories of someone you knew for too little time, alone and watching as the strings cut between you.
It sucks, honestly.

Summary

Summary
Fucking Keith was a lot like fighting with him, Lance found, and since they’d been having sex, their arguments were basically reduced to zero. They were on the same page more now than ever before. It made leading the team so much easier because when they did have a disagreement, they weren’t arguing about it in front of everyone else. Instead, they’d compromise, and then later, they’d fuck until they were finished being mad at each other.
Personally, Lance thought it was a great solution.
Except Keith was looking down at him now with the most intense expression Lance had ever seen, the most serious look on his face, the bright, soft, easy glint in his eyes that said—
