Dream's smile drops. It's the Equinox festival. To think his brother wants to ruin this sacred event saddens him. Nothing is holy to him anymore!
Now that the guardian knows where Nightmare and Killer are, he can’t sit idly by until something horrible happens.
“I’ll go and stop them!”
In response, a string he didn’t know was around his ankles tightens.
“Stop them from what?” Error asks. “Having a date?”
… A date?Or: Dream spies on his brother and Killer. Unfortunately, their little date goes well...

“You do not wish this kind of attention, I assure you.” Nightmare’s gaze travels to the red target soul. Fortunately, some monsters cannot be broken by hardship. “Besides, I can hardly whisper sweet nothings to you until the last bit of will to live leaves your soul.”
Killer snickers and throws the knife back into the snow. This one isn't worth keeping, apparently. “I’m flexible. Ruin me in another way.”Or: Just Killer and Nightmare enjoying each other's company.~

“Dream.”
The bitterness in Nightmare’s voice seems to reach this defenseless pile of misery lying on the muddy lawn. Dream stirs, clumsily trying to push himself off the ground but failing, like a foal that struggles to stand for the first time. He fails. But despite so fragile-looking that he appears to be made of glass, his confusion dissolves into tentative hope as he looks in Nightmare’s direction.
Slowly, Dream extends a shaky hand. “Help..?”Or: Nightmare does have a weak point. More than one, actually.

He tilts his head, black liquid spilling from his eye-socket. “Pretty sure there’s already a solution for that.”

The cyan eyelight darts to the gawking patrons in response. Showing affection in public would render the guardian vulnerable. They are each other’s greatest weakness, after all.

Cross is a captivating dancer, having no difficulties with following the girl's steps. It reminds Nightmare of all the times his loyal bodyguard adjusted his position to be near him, always within reach but never in his way.
A skeletal hand appears in his field of vision. Puzzled, Nightmare’s attention travels from the phalanges to Sans. The secret killer’s posture is formally bowed, and the smirk on his smug face stretches ever so slightly when their gazes meet.
“Wanna dance?”Or: Nightmare should put a bell on Killer. And maybe tape his mouth shut. Cross wouldn't mind.
