“Horny, you say?” The angel (Fell, Furfur decided; he couldn’t be arsed to remember the bastard’s actual name) regarded Crowley out of the corner of his eye, his gaze decidedly not angelic. “Care to tell me what that’s about, Crowley?”
Crowley, clearly caught off-guard by Fell’s reaction to this news, stammered for a second. “Ang- Aziraphale, I can’t just... well, ’s really just...” The demon cleared his throat. “Y’know. Demon stuff.”
“Demon stuff... funny, that doesn’t ring a bell,” the angel said lightly. Stepping closer to Crowley, he raised an eyebrow in what looked like a challenge. “It seems I do not, in fact, ‘know.’”
“...Like I said, ’s demon st-”
“-Yes, yes, demon stuff, I’m aware. Tell me, dear boy, would that make you an expert in the subject?”
Furfur, the vilest demon in the room, had to fight the urge to barf.

“Spencer, you think I want to pretend to be married to you? Because I don’t.” Carlton scoffed, and Spencer’s eyes instantly widened.
Oh. He’d meant to approach the issue much more tactfully. Ease into it. Maybe butter Spencer up a little bit. But nope, he’d just blurted it out. The silence hung in the air for a moment as Carlton wiped his still-sweaty palms on his pants again, feeling incredibly awkward.
“We’re gonna be married?” Spencer’s eyes were still wide, and he bit the inside of his cheek in contemplation for a moment.

(Or, Carlton Lassiter is very excited when he gets to go undercover. Less excited when he realizes he has to pretend to be married to Shawn Spencer to do it. Even less excited when he realizes that his feelings for Spencer are a lot more complicated than he originally thought.)

The thing that looked like Nacho was riddled with bullet holes. Moonlight filtered through them, dappling Lalo's chest and the concrete walls of the sewer in silvery light. Lalo had been seeing it for quite some time, but getting used to such a thing didn't seem possible.
It was small, only as tall as Nacho had been, and it was shrinking all the time, ashen skin drawing tight around its bones as it rotted. It said, its voice thick with dirt and blood and regret, "I know you miss me."
