Summary
James wouldn’t understand if Sirius told him. Oh, James would be accepting of some of it. Then he’d tell Sirius there’s nothing wrong with him. But there is. There is and it’s obvious. It’s one thing to love the wrong person. It’s another to love wrong.

Arthur was under the impression that Francis either had only a surface level understanding of Arthur, hence why he stayed, or that Francis could see right through to his heart, hence why he'd been his enemy for so long.

Summary
James may not be all that smart, but he is nothing if not determined and right now he is very determined. His friends will make up on this trip, mark his words. He just hopes they don’t kill each other first.

Summary
Monika huffs and turns her head to look straight out into the yard. Golden hour has come and gone, leaving everything looking dim and blue.
“I’m not so sure I like your sister,” is all she says. Which is funny, because her sister is incredibly vocal about her hate for Monika.
“Some days,” Feli says, standing up, “I’m not so sure I like her either.”

Summary
"Did you know, Chiara, my brother and I are hosting a party tomorrow evening? You ought to join us."
"I... would have to ask my grandmother," she muttered, still staring at the stage. Chiara was sure he could see her stress. She also knew he was utterly taken by her. That by itself was surprising, but the fact he had so casually entered her box, as if to confront her about it was worse. He knew of her engagement- everybody knew of it. Yet, there he sat, next to her in a dark, warm theater.
Horrible.
--
Everyone knows about Chiara's engagement to the currently off-at-war Prince Alfred. Antonio Fernandez Carriedo does not seem to care, though.

FIC #1 IN THE GREAT DIVIDE SERIES - Based on Noah Kahan's "End of August"
The last summer before Sirius leaves home for good. A field, a shitty car, a bottle of whisky they shouldn't be drinking, his brother laughing like a child for the first time in years, and the last of the summer bugs.

Summary
They’ve been watching each other the whole show, Patrick sly beneath the brim of his hat and Pete not even bothering to hide it, just turning his face to gaze at him full-out, eyes limpid, instinctual like a plant to the sun. The air tastes like electricity, like the frisson of energy before a thunderstorm, and Pete feels like a photocopy of himself: poised here on the cusp of something that twenty years ago filled him with as much aching want as it does now.

Summary
Religion! Horror! Exorcisms! Piercings! And Gerard is a priest.
Disclaimer: I stole frequently and unrepentantly from Joss Whedon and the makers of various horror movies throughout this whole series. Also I am not an expert on the Vatican or medical-type things, so please accept my apologies in advance for all the wild inaccuracies I am sure you are about to encounter. If everyone could just assume this is the Magical Made-Up Vatican, you know, like the religious institution version of those tour buses that drive themselves and don't carry anyone but the band, that would be awesome.
