    Summary

Two years into her marriage, Elizabeth Darcy wakes from a carriage accident remembering nothing past the autumn Mr. Bingley first came to Netherfield. She does not know Pemberley. She does not know her husband, or the sister he has, or the goddaughter who reaches for her without hesitation. She does not even fully know her own father, having lost the harder, clearer-eyed love she'd grown into for him alongside everything else.

Fitzwilliam Darcy must love a woman who looks at him exactly as she once did before she knew him at all, and court her a second time without the comfort of memory to lean on. As fragments of the lost two years return out of order, some tender, some cruel, and as George Wickham circles a wife who no longer remembers why she ought to distrust him, Elizabeth must decide, with no memory to guide her, whether she trusts the man she's told she married. A story about whether love survives the loss of the very history that built it.

    Summary

When Mrs Reynolds officiously informs Darcy that she will not continue on at Pemberley if he brings his termagant of a cousin, Anne, to be its Mistress, Darcy is forced to realise that his view of duty has been dictating his entire life--and he is miserable.

"I am sure your mother and father would not wish you to sacrifice your future felicity on the altar of family duty!" she tells him boldly. "Do you not have a duty to Pemberley, to Miss Darcy, and, forgive me for being so bold, to yourself, sir?"

He decides his faithful housekeeper is right. He is allowed to choose--the colour of his waistcoats, what he eats for supper, and ultimately, his own bride!

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Bennet has been striving with blood, sweat, and tears to maintain some of her family's respectability, but with her mother's decline, her father's indolence, and her home farm's desperate drainage problems, it is only a matter of time before she breaks under the strain of it all.

Will the arrival of a certain landowner from Derbyshire relieve her burdens at last? Or will the officious interference of his noble relations keep them apart?

    Summary

Lydia Bennet was born a ‘changeling’, silent, strange and utterly dependant on her older sister, Jane. Afraid to leave the house for more than a few hours, unwilling to expose her sister to society’s harsh condemnation, Jane is destined for a life of tender care and isolation. Mrs. Bennet resentfully places all of the family’s hopes on Elizabeth, reminding her at every rejection that Jane would have succeeded. When Netherfield Park is let to two gentlemen who have no idea what the Bennet family are trying to conceal, Jane and Elizabeth must reconcile their growing hopes to the fate of their beloved sister. E/D, J/B, HEA. NOTE: This work explores autism and how it was perceived in the early 1800s.
