“I’ve been here before.” He says. “When I died.” That was a stressful moment. A stressful time. It’s like a little tiny crack in the wonderful stained glass painting that is her life. That’s okay though, it’s still a wonderful thing. It’s still a wonderful creation that let her find Grian again and again and once more here.
She shushes him. There’s time for talking later, for now, just peace. He laughs. It sounds melodical.

He jumped at her, Squirrelflight’s ginger fur bunched up. The she-cat darted around, evading the tom’s claw strike, but the color around her neck snapped off. Good riddance, the she-cat thought as she jumped over the tom and twisted. Grappling onto the tomcat’s back, forcing him down to his belly. I hated the damned thing, she mentally snarled at the invasive thing.
The imposter kills everyone, he won. Squirrelflight dies. So when Hollyleaf and Firestar offer to send her back in time to fix everything this isn’t what she thought would happen. Bound by the soul of her daughter, and a burning desire for a better world, Squirrelflight tries to make this life better than her last.

Summary
If the world was fair and just, confessed-murderer Hollyleaf would be rotting in the Dark Forest where she belongs.
Although, if the world were fair and just, Ashfur would have never threatened Hollyleaf and her family, and she would have never had to kill him.
And if the world had been fair and just, Hollyleaf with her code-violating existence would have never even lived long enough to have drawn breath in the first place.
The world is not fair and just, and Hollyleaf is in StarClan. So is Ashfur. Two cats who are not supposed to be here, now trapped in paradise for eternity.
But forever’s a long time. As the moons pass, Hollyleaf attempts to navigate her guilt and shame to try to rediscover meaning in her life-after-death’s existence.
