“Hollander. Are you good?”
It was fairly typical of Shane to be glassy-eyed and floating for a while after sex, especially if Ilya was particularly nasty with him - holding his face down, pinning his hands behind his back, whispering filth in his ear.
He wasn’t usually out of it for this long, though, and Ilya was starting to become concerned.
He had to leave, he couldn’t stay in Shane’s hotel room forever, but there was no way in good conscience he could leave him like this. He’d cleaned up afterwards, half-dragged Shane into the shower, plied him with cold water: all the usual tricks to help ease him back into reality. None of it had worked.
Or: a series of scenes of Ilya doing his best to take care of Shane, spanning years of their relationship.

“You’re drunk,” Ilya interrupted. He sounded amused, at least.
“No, nope, ‘m not,” Shane insisted, wincing at the slurring he could hear in his own voice. “I had a couple drinks. That’s all. I still wanna…come over,” he said, lowering his voice conspiratorially.
“So why are you calling me, Hollander?” Ilya sounded so sexy it was stupid. The way his accent curled like smoke around Shane’s last name made his face flush and his stomach flutter.
“Uh.” He blinked, and inhaled sharply through his nose. Why was he calling? “I…want you.”
Ilya’s laugh was sexy, too. Fuck him. “I know you do. Get a car and come over here now, before I change my mind and go to sleep.”
Or: Shane gets drunk while out with the team in Boston, but he still wants to keep his plans with Ilya.

Ilya’s ears perked up. He’d had some of the best sex of his life following basically those exact words. He rested his head on Shane’s shoulder, reaching over to take his hand. “Keep talking.”
“Well, we have another week here together, and I was thinking. What if you could, uh. Have sex with me whenever you wanted?” Shane asked quietly, turning his hand over in Ilya’s so they were palm to palm, lacing their fingers together. “And I couldn’t say no? Or I mean, I could say it, but you wouldn’t listen.”
Ilya inhaled sharply and lifted his head from Shane’s shoulder, studying him. He looked tense, but hopeful. Eager. “I would like that,” he enunciated carefully, squeezing Shane’s hand.
Or: during their second summer at the cottage, Shane suggests trying out free use. Ilya is, predictably, all for it.

“You are like a puppy,” he said, taking Shane’s face in both hands. “Shchenok. Even sounds like your name, a little.”
“Uh-uh.” He turned his head, nuzzling Ilya’s palm and then sucking his pinky finger into his mouth, eyes falling shut in contentment.
“You know what happens to mouthy puppies?” he asked, soft and dark, watching as one of Shane’s eyes slid open and refocused on him. “They get muzzled. Cannot get anything in their mouths. Then they learn.”
Or: Shane likes to bite. Ilya decides to muzzle him about it.

I am so late to this fandom that I completely missed the dreamwidth kink meme. There was an "Ilya lactation" prompt over there ("Pick your reason (omegaverse, magic, med side effect) but I just want those luscious tits of his producing milk. Prefer with Shane, but open to other pairings. with or without mpreg") that just seemed like a missed opportunity for two weird compulsions to suit each other perfectly.
