Harua had three golden rules when it came to dating.
1. He has to have an online presence. In this day and age it was suspicious not to have your life out for everyone to see.
2. Never get set up by a friend. There are too many complications that can arise from dating someone your friend knows, especially if the date goes badly.
3. And lastly, keep your options open. AKA never ever make it official.Suddenly Harua meets Maki and starts to throw his own rules out the window.

Harua’s brows creased in annoyance. This was his special day, he deserved a congratulatory wish from Yuma at least, a personal one, directed right at him, not just a generic chant part of a crowd. “I was looking forward to it” he mumbled.
Yuma placed the plate on the dish rack with more force than necessary. “Why? What difference would that make? Was Dad and Ms. Shigeta's wishes not enough for you?”
Harua seemed to stiffen behind him, suddenly at a loss for words. He wasn’t sure how to respond to that.
A minute of silence stretched between them, and Yuma found himself melding into that silence. He held the plate stiffly, waiting for something to happen.
Suddenly, a shiver ran down his spine when a solid chest pressed against his back. Harua leaned over his shoulder, hair brushing against the side of Yuma's cheek. “I still want a present,” he muttered.

Euijoo strengthens his hold on the carrier, readjusts the jacket and hides a wince as he peels himself off of the brick wall, and when the other reopens his eyes, something in him awakens.
"There is nothing else I'd rather not do."
