   Summary

   Abigail, junior apprentice of the Folly, stumbles across a pattern of ghost sightings in a certain part of London and sets off to investigate. She and her instructor, Police Inspector Thomas Nightingale are just as surprised about what - or rather who - they find over the course of this investigation as those found are about their finders. Could this encounter open new doors to detecting or confuse everyone even more? And what happens if two magic users - one dead, one alive - both born in 1900, meet? Also: Could a ghost be a suitable sparring partner for Abigail?
