"So who even is this guy?" Sonic asks while Tails packs.
Toothbrush…toothpaste…how many pairs of underwear does he need? He's not sure since the doctor wasn't specific on how long he would need him.
"Some scientist. I read his papers, he was brilliant!" At first when Tails got the email he thought it was a scam and then they kept coming and coming and curiosity won out over self preservation. The email was a proposition, the doctor wanted to hire Tails and offered to pay for room and board. All he requested in exchange was a chance to use the memory device Tails invented.
He cautiously replied back and almost immediately received an email back informing him a car would be by today to pick him up at his place of residence. Tails did his research. Dr. Ivo Robotnik was a brilliant scientist some thirty years ago. Most of his drone technology is still being used today although the man himself seems to have passed into obscurity.

Gerald makes a gesture towards Stone, clearly leering at his ass. Ivo feels suddenly, impossibly warm at the implications and at the fact that his grandfather is…ogling his assistant.
"Of course not. That's —" He cuts himself off. Ridiculous. Him and Stone. How could his grandfather even suggest such a thing?
"So he's not taken. Good to know."
Ivo refuses to give the conversation any further thought. He refuses to think of Stone in such a light. Relationships are so beneath him after all.
