“I wonder what sort of shelter Leela has found for us?” Narvin caught up to Romana with an effort. “A damp cave, no doubt, probably inhabited by pig-bears.”
“I don’t know about you, Narvin, but I’d welcome a cave right now, damp or otherwise, if it offered us some protection from this wind.” Romana drew her hood more closely around her face. “And I trust Leela to keep us safe from pig-bears, or any other monstrous creatures that might be lurking inside.”
Narvin suspected that Romana was teasing him. He chose to ignore it.
Or, Romana, Leela and Narvin step through the portal into an alternate Gallifrey. Things start to go downhill from there.

Summary
A series of One shots where John saves Sherlock's life in so many ways. Will be updated sporadically as and when I get any time to write. As always I like my characters hurt, so plenty of angst, H/C, whump and bromance (no slash) will ensue. Please comment if you can.
The purpose of these stories is for people to enjoy a little bit of angst and hurt/comfort from time to time. Reading all chapters at once may be too much for some. Angst ahead, continue if (like me) you're a junkie for the stuff.

Summary
"I never wanted this for you."
Marc says it to his hands more than to her, clasped in a white-knuckled knot between his knees. He is a gargoyle perched on the edge of his bed, hunched and rigid - a half dozen available seats scattered around the London flat, and he chooses the only one with a shackle.
She sits straight-backed in her own, hands neatly folded in her lap, running shoes on her feet. Mirror images inverted, she thinks, and it's almost funny.
"Well," says Layla Abdallah El-Faouly, Avatar of Taweret, aide to the Mistress of the Horizon, and Marc Spector's wife, pending two signatures on the piece of paper they still haven't talked about. "That sounds rather a lot like a 'you' problem."
