Until a few months ago, Karakura Town had been the perfect place to hide in. The decision of a teenager wanting to protect his family at all costs didn't seem to be such a trivial one for the world as it was for himself, but it affected the world of the living nevertheless; and the worlds beyond it. No one could have predicted just how much - with maybe one exception. Hirako Shinji wasn't that exception, but he knew something was up when he noticed the new shinigami in town and simply couldn't leave it alone.
