    What if The Wen clan attacked much MUCH earlier, what if the lan clan of Gusu and the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng were both taken down months apart leaving orphans in their wake. What if said orphans Were the twin jades of Gusu and the Children (both blood and martial) of Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu. And what if both sets of kids were taken in by gods? Lan Xichen makes a prayer for his brother that leads to them being taken in by the Water Master Shi Wudu who takes pity out of familiar histories while the Yunmeng trio happen upon a humble scrap collector Xie Lian who finds them drifting down river and takes them in knowing fully well what its like to lose your family in war.
    (Partly based before the events of TGCF but will end up going in a weird retelling of the story but with teenager versions of the MDZS characters and also some minor plots that tie into the MDZS plot. )(( Slight age changing for reasons :P))

    Part's 2 and 3 are under major revising so the story is ended here for now.

    Summary

    Hua Cheng has issued a wave of fresh challenges to so many heavenly officials, his rampage may well wipe out the heavens. Ling Wen is sent to ask the calamity what could get him to stay his hand this time, and receives an impossible request - the hand of the Crown Prince of Xianle, long since disappeared from the realms.

    Xie Lian was minding his own business six hundred years post-banishment when the bun he salvaged was knocked from his hands into the dirt. Swept up to the heavenly court, he's asked if he is willing to put himself on the line for the sake of peace between heaven and ghost realms.

    Faced with a situation neither of them could have expected in their lifetimes, what are a ghost king and twice-banished god to make of their most implausible arrangement?

    Summary

    Xie Lian has not stolen anything. He is completely innocent and it is not his fault he keeps claiming ownership over Hua Cheng's things.

    This was supposed to be a plotless collection of one-shot, but it kind of developed a plot at some point so it is recommended to read these in right order.

    It starts one night when Hua Cheng is bored and runs into a wayward flower spirit in his territory. And then it happens again. And again. Hua Cheng has never worked so hard to collect a debt owed him, but he doesn't seem to mind. All the while, up in the Heavens, there's a prince missing and trouble brewing. Those things can't possibly be connected in any way.
