Shane seems to be fumbling for the right words. "Look, I'm not trying to say it bothers me or anything. I just don't think about it. Or want to think about it. Hockey players are supposed to be bulky, and stuff fluctuates on and off season, it's fine."
Ilya looks at him, harder now that Shane seems very focused on the floor instead of meeting his eyes. Shane says, quieter than before, "It's not like it fucking bothers you, anyway. Or does it?"
