Summary
Erik, owner of the Moncharmin Theatre, and Academy of Performing Arts, hears one of the ballerinas singing on his stage, and decides she is the one he needs for his next opera. Christine isn't sure about leaving the corps de ballet after working so hard to finally become a soloist, but realizes this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
However, it becomes clear that Christine, though an extremely talented singer already, lacks experience and confidence. And if she wants to pull off the role Erik has in mind for her, he'll have to help her get comfortable with more than just singing...

When Gustave Daaé finds himself unable to make a payment on his enormous loan for the third month in a row, his daughter Christine is taken as collateral until the money is paid in full. Although his lender would normally send his personal assassin - known to his frightened debtors as the Phantom - to end Gustave's miserable life, he instead has the Phantom keep Christine prisoner. Christine, naturally, fears her captor, fears his terrible mask, and fears the new life she leads - but there may be a kernel of warmth within the Phantom's icy, black heart. Complete. Enjoy!
