Sunset Shimmer has been through the roughest year of her life.
But that was her fault.
She stole the Element of Magic, turned into a raging demon and attempted a coup on Equestria. Well, that was until she gets socked in the face by some "Friendship is Magic" rainbow bullshit. But the perpetrators of her downfall have given her a new chance.
She is loathed by nearly everyone, including herself. She wants to change but has no idea how. She's looking for an opportunity to make things right, and it arrives in the form of a tempest threatening to tear Canterlot apart. Will she take it, or will she let those who have put their trust in her down?
